At first I thought it was a one off incident. But the trend was sort of visible across all companies. The global IT or ITes majors either started gloating publicly over their successes or publicly challeneged its competitors and declared self claimed victories.

First Yahoo ! There was this public recognition for the Yahoo mail team. I truly agree with them. This team has been doing a good fine job. But then again to compare and belittle Gmail service !. The recognition for this outpost team seemed like a corporate mud slinging against Gmail team.

Yahoo again : Yahoo maps lists Google headquarters as "Dude's fish shop" No comments on this one..

Microsoft : A lot has been going around the circles about the recruitment policies of this giant. The "windows defender" news is coming in the circles again. The news does not stop there : Steves' public outrage against Google is still known for all its wrong reasons ....

Sco : Sco files suit against Linux major about source code infringement.. The argument continues in this case

Google : The recruitment spat over Microsoft executive.

Apple: Apple sabotaged the success of ROKR to sway the public opinion of Mp3 cell phones and drive iPod sales???? Is it true that by limiting the number of songs in ROKR to 100 they sort of managed to put bad taste... ???

Cisco: Remember the Michael Lynn affair at the black hat conference ????

Hope this does not get uglier.. Who knows one or two of these companies may come together in mergers in the distant future since everyone is diversifying their areas.....
